Course Objectives The aim of this course is to ensure the candidates of psychological counselors get informed about the school guidance services and how they work, school guidance programs, the tasks and responsibilities of school personnel, guidance activities as well as the guidance services at private teaching institutions and Guidance and Research Center.
Course Content Examining the guidance services of institutions, how they work , the tasks and responsibilities of counselors and other related people, and the guidance activities they do.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1. To learn about the school guidance services 2. To learn about the school counselors' education, daily routines, vocational difficulties and what they find interesting about their work 3. To get informed about school guidance program 4. To get informed about perception of guidance at schools 5. To learn about guidance activities at schools 6. To get information about The Guidance and Research Center and its activities 7. To get information about the guidance activities at private teaching institutions

6. Week To examine the tasks and responsibilities of school personnel
7. Week Perception of guidance at schools
8. Week To observe and report the guidance activities
9. Week Class gets together and shares information and experience with the teaching staff
10. Week To examine the techniques of individual assessment at schools
11. Week To visit the second chosen school on the list and examine its guidance service
12. Week To examine the guidance program at this school
13. Week To get together with the students and get information about their studies
