Course Objectives The main goal of this course is to teach student the principal terms and techniques of individual recognition.
Course Content Non-test techniques: Basic Concept, Principle and Classification Techniques based on telling himself/herself: Questionnaire, Problem scanning list, Time Scale, The Desire List, autobiography, etc. Techniques based on other’s judgments: Socio-metry, Who’s this? Social distance scale Techniques based on observation: observation lists, characteristics entry table, case entries, Rating scale, etc. Techniques based on interaction: interview, home visit, role play, drama, etc.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students will be able to: 1. define basic concepts related to non-test techniques. 2. understand the characteristics of non-test techniques. 3. summarize each steps done in using non-test techniques. 4. prepare, copy and implement the non-test techniques. 5. score and analyze any kind of non-test technique. 6. determine the psychometric characteristics of non-test techniques developed. 7. comment about the psychometric characteristics of non-test techniques developed.
