Course Objectives Investigation problems of children the normal developmental stages of human in which physical, motor, cognitive, emotional, moral and social dimensions from the beginning of life to adolescence years and the problems in these stages
Course Content Fundamental concepts and principles concerned with theories of development, developmental periods, physical cognitive, personal and moral development in the period of childhood, interaction with parents and the behavioral and adjustment problems of children
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1. Students acquire theoretical knowledge needed for understanding children. 2. Students learn the research methods which are used for investigating children. 3. Students discover normal developmental stages of child and distinguish normal situations from abnormal situations. 4. Students acquire the ability of looking and evaluating the events and situations from the perspective of child.

12. Week Middle and late childhood: Physical, motor and cognitive development
