Course Objectives The aim of this course is to provide the concepts, principles, techniques and skills necessary for carrying out preventive guidance and psychological counseling activities in schools.
Course Content Preventive function, history and theories of psychological counseling, protective factors, risk behaviors and prevention
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. To be able to explain the preventive function and historical development of psychological counselor 2. To be able to give life skills as protective factors and to increase social competence 3. To have knowledge about risk behaviors and prevention 4. To have information about unhealthy nutrition, eating disorders and preventing school drop 5. To gain information about psychological counselor training and prevention
