Course Objectives The aim of this course is to be able to make relations between learning and teaching theories; and to be able to guide teachers on coping with emotions encountered during the course by using these theories and taxonomies.
Course Content With reference to cultural aspects of education and the educational rights and guidance defined in the Constitution (Atatürk’s Principals, “National Education =Misakı Maarif” issued in İzmir Economic Congress, secularism, women rights and principal of equality, republic and democracy, the main aims of Turkish National Education based upon National Education Basic Law): basic concepts, the relations among teachinf strategies and the structured factor analysis of the course; psychological and contextual topic taxonomies; the methods used in the course
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1. Be able to guide both teachers and parents in both aggression, exam anxiety, studying abilities experienced during the courses and also helping students to cope with finding the courses/ school boring., 2. Be able to help in guidence to counselee about these issues., 3. Be able to guide teachers in class discipline while they are preparing course plans 4. Be able to make connection between the social structure and education.
