Course Objectives To comphrend the current situation, aim, structure and process of the Turkish Education System by determining the concept of organization and the managerial sciences with th recognition of the historical and intellectual bases of Turkish Education System.
Course Content This course introduces the objectives and basic principles of Turkish educational system; the legislative arrangements related to education; the examination of Turkish educational system in terms of its structure, management theories and educational processes; school systems and management; personnel, student, teaching and administrative tasks in school management and ways of promoting involvement of society in schools.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. To determine the historical and intellectual bakground of the Turkish Education System. 2. To explain the structure, process and aim of the Turkish Education System. 3. To define the concepts of Management and Organization. 4. To explain the organizational structure of school and the management processes of school. 5. To identify the effective management styles. 6. To exhibit attitudes and behaviors which contribute the development of the Organization of School.
