Course Objectives The aim of this course to help students gain perspective about choosing, preparing, practicing and evaluating group guidance activities in schools by taking into account needs and developmental features of students.
Course Content Principles and techniques of group guidance activities, traditional and developmental approaches, need assessment of students, choosing, preparing, practicing and evaluating group guidance activities in schools.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to 1. Explain the aims of group guidance in schools, 2. Assess the needs of students in schools and prepare appropriate group guidance programs accordingly, 3. Comprehend various group guidance programs: personal-social, educational and vocational guidance areas with different age groups. 4. Evaluate the effectiveness of group guidance programs.
