Course Objectives |
To make students gain communication skills in their personal, professional and social life, to increase awareness,
create a substructure that enable them to constantly improve themselves in this area |
Course Content |
The definition of interpersonal communication, communication model, communication elements and features, effective listening and feedback, factors preventing interpersonal communication (source, channel, receiver, etc.)
factors facilitating communication, role of emotions in communication and use, conflict and prevention in
communication, fundamental considerations noted in student, teacher and parent communication, communication
applications |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings;
LO1 – to recognize and examine the communication types of oneself and others
LO2 - to own self-expression skills
LO3 – to implement effective conflict resolution and effective communication methods |
