Course Objectives |
Helping students to understand the theories of using literature in the language classroom, showing how the figurative usage of language in a literary work can expand the students' language awareness and interpretative abilities. |
Course Content |
Selected examples from British and American short fiction will be presented and analyzed by using different approaches to teaching literature (language based approach, stylistics, literature as content) |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students are expected to learn the advantages of using a literary work with a language learner by learning and applying the theories through various classroom activities.
