Course Objectives |
The aim of the course is to equip students with a general theoretical background to technical translation and to provide them with the necessary knowledge required to translate technical texts. The texts in question include simple user manuals, prospectus of medical products, engineering texts, military and law texts.

The features of technical texts, their specific terminology, translation methods used in technical translation, translation practice on scientific and technical texts. |
