Course Objectives |
The aim of this course is to provide the current concepts of information technologies, their role in human life, the infrastructures and application areas of modern information systems, and the necessary knowledge and skills in the design, development and maintenance of these systems. |
Course Content |
Information and Communication Technologies and current concepts, what it is, its structure, usage areas, how the business and social life are affected by the developments in digital technologies will be examined. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
Students who are successful at the end of this course;
1. Will be able to define basic concepts related to information technologies and how they are used in business world / organizations at the level of knowledge and comprehension.
2. Will be able to use various information technologies at application level.
3. Learn how the infrastructures supporting Information Systems work at the level of knowledge, understanding and application.
4. Will know at the level of knowledge and comprehension what the current information system applications are. |
