Course Objectives In Trauma Course; It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills about the evaluation of trauma cases and emergency care practice
Course Content To students; General approach rules and trauma in patients with trauma, general evaluation of patient with multiple trauma, general approach in shock, head trauma, spine and spinal cord trauma, pelvic trauma, extremity trauma, pediatric trauma, trauma in pregnancy and geriatric trauma theoretical knowledge and applications related to these issues are taught. .
Learning Outcomes (LO) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to; LO-1 Knows general approach rules in traumas LO-2 Apply general approach rules in patients with multiple trauma LO-3 Apply emergency care in external bleeding and shock, LO-4 Evaluate all organ injuries and apply emergency care LO-5 Distinguishes trauma in pediatric, geriatric and pregnancy and applies emergency care
