Course Objectives Understanding the physical principles and laws; comprehending that these principles and laws also functioning in biological phenomena.
Course Content Physical principles and laws that are working also in biological systems, bioelectricity and biomechanics, interactions of various energy forms with biological matter.
Learning Outcomes (LO) LO1- Experience in using physical and chemical laws to explain biological phenomena. LO2- Developing ability of scientific thinking LO3- Developing ability of mathematical thinking LO4- Developing ability and skill to measure all of the quantities allied human body. LO5- Comprehension the basic physical principles of the medical imaging techniques.

6. Week Electric current. Ohm’s Law. Direct current circuits.
7. Week Devices for measuring and recording bioelecric events.
8. Week Bioelectric pheomena: physical principles of EKG, EEG, EMG.

11. Week Sound and hearing.
12. Week Electromagnetic waves. Their effects and applications.
13. Week Ultrasound, effects and applications.
