This course defines musculosketal diseases in the elderly. |

Recognition of musculoskeletal diseases in the elderly. |
| Learning Outcomes (LO) |
Upon successful completion of this course the students;
1. Learn physiological and musculoskeletal changes in the elderly.
2. Learn the general characteristics of inflammatory and non-inflammatory musculoskeletal diseases.
3. Learn the general characteristics of neck and back pain as well as the soft tissue disorders coused by tendinopathy, bursitis, strain and sprain.
4. Comprehend the differences in the properties and the approach on pain in the elderly.
5. Learn the fundamental differences of these diseases in the elderly.
