Course Objectives This course aims to gain knowledge and skills about description of geriatric health, history of gerontology, demographics and epidemiology of geriatric health, physiological and psychosocial changes due to the aging, common problems at old age, policies about old people at Türkiye and rest of the world.

Learning Outcomes (LO) Students that complete this course succesfully have necessary knowledge and skills about, LO1: Description of geriatric health, history of gerontology LO2: Demographics and epidemiology of geriatric health at Türkiye and rest of the world.
