Course Objectives Special principles and basic grammar of Turkish Language are given to students. Additionally, some implementations are made to gain the abilities of reading, writing and speaking.
Course Content To improve Turkish Language (TL) consciousness, to emphasis the importance of the language-thinking relation, to improve language-thinking relation for the reasons of being productive and creative in scientific and technological fields
Learning Outcomes (LO) The nature and characteristics of language, the characteristics of Turkish Language (TL); reading, understanding, explanation and to express one are the main outcomes. The additional aim is to earn medical sciences students to do better ability of communication with the patience.

1. Week Language (Definition, specialties), Native language and the other related subjects to mother tongue.
2. Week Dialect, accent, phraseology, slang, special language, spoken language, pronunciation specialties of TL.
3. Week Writing rules of TL, emphasis, intonation, acoustics, phonetics and strain in TL.
4. Week Punctuation marks.
5. Week Structural characteristics and origins of TL.
6. Week Aspect of TL today, foreign originated words in TL, abbreviations, common mistakes in TL.
7. Week Mistakes in terms of meaning, structure and translation.
8. Week MID-TERM
9. Week Explanation and pronunciation defects.
10. Week Misusages especially in terms of meaning, word assignment according to intention.
11. Week Official correspondence and techniques.
12. Week Petition, curriculum vitae (CV), application letter.
13. Week Official writings, report, resolution in writing, summary of a resolution in writing.
14. Week Usage of the language in various media (presentations, questions, explanations).
