Course Objectives Communication Skills for Health Professionals
Course Content To develop the skills of health professionals on the basic principles and applications of communication
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1- The student can explain the definition and principles of communication 2- The student can understand the importance of speaking in communication and can use the methods of talking effectively 3- The student can understand the importance of listening in communication and can use the method of active listening effectively 4- The student can understand the importance of non verbal communication and can make use of the clues of non verbal communication effectively 5- The student can understand the positive and negative role of different expectations of health professionals and patients in their overall communication 6- The student knows the diverse models of health communication and their applications 7- The student can design a media health communication program
