Course Objectives |
This course aims to enable students to learn the basic concepts, theories, principles and techniques of career counseling and guidance. |
Course Content |
This course includes the basic concepts of career counseling and guidance, the main stages of the career selection process, the place and importance of profession and choice of profession in human life, the historical development of career choice assistance services, the factors affecting choice of profession, developing activities for career development, theories about choice of profession and career development, career counseling process, principles and techniques of career counseling. |

In addition to sharing theoretical information, the course will also include examining the national and international literature and practice examples related to career counseling and guidance, developing activities that support career development, career choice and professional development. In the processing of the topics, the lecturer will make a presentation and the active participation of the students in the presentations and discussions will be included.
