Course Objectives |
It is aimed that the students taking the course learn the consumer protection law theoretically and practically, knowing consumer rights. |
Course Content |
Upon successful completion of this course, the student learns the legislative provisions to be applied to consumer disputes and the authorities to apply in consumer disputes. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
Students taking the course
1. will be able to explain the basic concepts of consumer law.
2. Recognizes the Law on the Protection of the Consumer and the rights of the consumer arising from this law.
3. Will be able to know the special situations such as unfair conditions, deceptive advertisements, defective goods and services that require the protection of the consumer.
4. Will recognize the contracts regulated in the Consumer Protection Law such as package tour contracts, consumer loan contracts, distance contracts, contracts established outside the workplace and their differences from each other.
5. Consumer arbitration committees, consumer courts, such as disputes arising from consumer law will dominate the procedure and will know the approaches in doctrine and practice regarding disputes. |
