The aim of the course is to provide a general view on the relationship between various fields of linguistics and language teaching, and to increase students' awareness of the possible contributions of linguistics to language teaching in general. |

The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings;
LO1 - be familiar with basic issues in linguistics and language teaching
