| Course Objectives |
This course aims to make the post graduate students become skilful at planning and implementing a scientific research, preparing and presenting a research project. |
| Course Content |
This course investigates the subjects related to the research planning, identifying of the proper research design, determining the research topic, literature searching methods, determining of the aim questions and hypothesis of research, deciding the population and sample groups, specifying data collection methods, deciding the appropriate statistical analysis tests, and scientific writing rules. |
| Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who completed the course successfully will acquire the followings:
LO -1. Explains the scientific research designs and methods.
LO -2. Defines the sampling methods.
LO -3. Determines a scientific research topic related to his/her expertise field.
LO -4. Searches the literature.
LO -5. Prepares the research proposal.
LO -6. Organizes the data collection tool/tools which the student will use in the planned research.
LO -7. Decides the statistical analysis tests which are useful for the dependent and independent variables of the planned research.
LO -8. Explains the ethical issues associated with the research and publication processes.
LO -9. Writes a research project.
