General Information
Ufuk University began Education - Teaching in 2002-2003. The training in Emergency and First Aid Programs Health Services Vocational education was opened in the 2007-2008 academic year , depending on the school.The purpose of Emergency and First Aid Program is to apply emergency pre-hospital treatment and care services in case of illness or accident .Also to educate the emergency technician equipped in ambulance to provide transportation to the hospital by performing appropriate immobilisation according to the position of patient or injured . Therefore , students at the university acquired the skills to transform theoretical knowledge relating to occupations , in order Ufuk University Hospital , Ankara Province and 112 in the other hospitals do an internship in the Provincial Ambulance Service . Emergency and First Aid quota is 40 for each year.

Arrangements for the Recognition of Prior Learning
Students admitted to our School can bring transcript of their grades and course content they study domestically or abroad in other Higher Education institutions before ,with the applicant .The credit and grade transfer requests are examined by the school board and they make the decision .

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Students graduate from the program must pass all the courses in the program , and there should be no FF . Students in this program should provide a minimum of 120 ECTS credits and a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 .A further 30 business days of summer internship of 240 hours must be made .

Students who graduate from the program , can provide pre-hospital emergency medical services life-saving and disability preventive care at a professional level within the framework of authority and responsibility

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Student's success in Health Services Vocational School is determined by an evaluation of the mid-term notes along with the final exam grade. Mid-term notes, consists of the notes depending on the midterm exam and course assignments, practices, practical work . Last assessment, are determined by the course instructor with one of the following letter grades,taking into the consideration of success level of all students taking the course
