Course Objectives | The purpose of this course is to equip students with both theoretical and practical knowledge on discourse analysis which is the study of language use beyond word level. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Course Content | In the scope of the course, discussions will be included on the concept of discourse, the in depth analysis of oral and written discourse with a sound approach, and the relationship between elements of language. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes (LO) | Upon successful completion of the course: 1. Studenst will be able to define concepts relating discourse and discourse anaşysis and will be able to distinguish them. 2. Students will become knowledgeable about the approaches towards the analysis of oral and written discourse samples. 5.
