Course Objectives |
The aim of this lecture is providing the ability to understand and examine constitutional problems and evaluation in regards to Turkish constitutional law by gaining the ability to understand and interpret the basic principles and organizations of constitutional law. |
Course Content |
This course deals with evaluation of constitutional law, important institutions, basic principles and organizations. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
1. Understanding the place of constitution in the history and evaluation of law, and criticizing the current constitutional systems by the importance of constitution for rights and liberties.
2. Interpreting political systems -depending on society- regarding constitutional systems and liberties.
3. Analyzing elements of government and relation among them in the light of the constitutional principles.
4. Interpreting difference of the usage of sovereignty, understanding and comparing the different government systems by constitutional law.
5. Gaining knowledge on the rules and regulations on the parliament placed in the constitution and the bylaw.
6. Understanding the fundamental principles of Turkish Republic, and evaluation of constitutional system.
7. Understanding the incorporation, operation and responsibilities of constitutional institutions and organs.
8. Criticizing the human rights respectful government system which was constituted by 1982 Constitution.
9. Gaining the ability to maintain the basic outcomes and competences acquired during the education in graduate degree, gaining responsibility as a professional who will be useful to the justice services, understanding the perpetuity of education.
10. Gaining professional and ethical responsibilities.
